If you choose not to provide the requested PII, you may be unable to access or use certain features of the Services. We understand that privacy is important, and this policy applies to all software, services, information, tools, features, and functionality provided through the Services by the Company or its subsidiaries or affiliates. It outlines how the Company collects, receives, and handles PII, including in connection with the use of the Services. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us using the contact details provided on our Services.
1. Information We Collect, Why and How We Use It
In order to provide and improve our Services, we may collect PII, including the following types of information:
- Information You Provide. For certain features of the Services, such as when you sign up for an account, we may request personal information from you, including: your name, photo, email address, physical address, phone number, fields of interest, and your social network or third-party service provider user ID through which you accessed or registered for the Services (e.g., Facebook ID, hereinafter referred to as "Third Party Platforms").
- Third Parties. We may occasionally supplement the information you provide with information received from third parties. If you access the Services through Third Party Platforms or interact with social media plug-ins within the Services (such as the Facebook "Like" button), we may receive information from your respective social media or Third Party Platforms account. This may include your account details, profile photo, and any information classified as public according to the policies of those Third Party Platforms and/or your privacy settings within the respective platform.
- User Communications. When you send emails or other communications to the Company, or when you provide your email as part of your PII, we may retain those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our Services. We may also send you push notifications to provide news and updates about the Services. Additionally, we may send you newsletters and promotional communications, but you can opt out of receiving these at any time by submitting a request to the following email address: [email protected]
- Aggregated Personal Data. In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Services, the Company frequently conducts research on its customer demographics, interests, and behavior based on the PII and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and the Company may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents, and business partners. This aggregate information does not personally identify you. Additionally, the Company may disclose aggregated user statistics to describe our services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for lawful purposes.
- User Information. When you use our Services, we may automatically collect and record information from your device and browser, including your IP address, IDFA identifiers (for iOS devices), Identifier for Advertising (for iOS devices), and Google Advertiser IDs (for Android devices). These identifiers are collected for various purposes, such as frequency capping, attribution, conversion events, estimating the number of unique users, advertising fraud detection, and debugging. Additionally, we use aggregated data for monetization purposes.
2. Cookies; web beacons and third party processors.
To collect the data described in this policy, we may use temporary cookies that remain on your device for a limited time, as well as persistent cookies that stay on your device until manually removed through your device/browser settings. These cookies help manage and maintain the Services and record your use of them. Cookies, on their own, cannot be used to identify a user. A cookie is a small piece of information sent to and stored on your device, and it does not cause damage to your device.
Some cookies that we set when you visit our Services are essential for the proper functioning of the Services. We also use performance cookies to enhance your user experience and improve how content is presented on our website. Most browsers or devices allow you to block cookies, but doing so may limit your ability to use certain features of the Services. You can set most browsers to notify you when a cookie is received, enabling you to decide whether to accept it.
We may also use web beacons (also known as "gifs") on the Services to collect information. These electronic images may be used in our Services or emails to deliver cookies, count visits, and determine if and when an email has been opened and acted upon.
Additionally, we use third-party tracking technologies (such as those from Rakuten Marketing LLC, Amazon Services LLC, and eBay Partner Networks Inc.) including cookies, web beacons, and other tools to process and analyze your PII, profile user activities, and deliver targeted ads. This includes tracking your use of the Services and other third-party websites and services. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the PII we process is accurate, complete, and up-to-date; however, we rely on users to update or correct their PII as needed.
